Mental Health - Score board 😊
We all face stress . It’s part of life. But managing it the right way makes all the difference. Simple habits like deep breathing, regular exercise, and taking short breaks can calm your mind and boost your focus.

Some people turn to smoking to “relieve” stress, but it actually makes things worse. Smoking increases anxiety, harms your health, and never solves the root cause of stress.

Share your stress: Talking about what you feel with friends or loved ones isn’t a sign of weakness. it’s a healthy way to release tension and gain perspective. A good chat can lighten the load more than you think but may not be a confidential one.

Healing from childhood trauma is a gradual, nonlinear process. Progress should be measured not by perfection in marital roles, but by improved emotional awareness, communication, and mutual empathy. Consistency, compassion, and professional guidance are the foundation for rebuilding connection and trust.

Alcohol: The World’s Most Normalized Poison

Did you know?
• 2.6 million people die every year from alcohol-related causes.
• That’s nearly 7,000 people dying today alone.
• Over 400 million people worldwide struggle with Alcohol Use Disorder.
• 1 in 3 people will face alcohol-related problems at some point in life.

The Truth About Alcohol
• Addiction is driven by trauma and genetics, not moral weakness. (40–60% of risk is genetic – similar to diabetes).
• The “alcohol is healthy” studies?
Flawed and misleading.
• Even light drinking increases cancer risk. For breast cancer, there is no safe level.

Inside the Body
• Your liver turns alcohol into acetaldehyde – 30x more toxic than alcohol itself.
• This toxin causes inflammation, cellular damage, and eventually irreversible scarring.

The Path to Healing
• Recovery is possible. After 5 years of complete sobriety, a person’s risk of relapse drops to the same as the general population.
• Cutting back isn’t enough – true healing requires complete abstinence.

The evidence is clear: There is no “healthy” amount of alcohol consumption.
Recovery is possible — and support is available.

WHAT do MEN want from WOMEN?

In gentle terms, men desire less fighting and more intimacy. They also want fewer conflicts, as they often feel responsible for managing women's emotions—this can lead to misunderstandings.

It’s important to recognize that women have deep feelings. Men do too, but they are generally better at concealing them. Sometimes, without any logical reason, men may require a lengthy conversation—up to two hours—to process their anger or negative emotions.

Men often believe that their role as a husband is to make their partner happy, which can be a significant miscalculation. They feel pressured to accept their partner's emotions in order to better accept their own.

What men truly seek is for their partner to want them, adore them, and approve of them just the way they are.

Consider a group of eight-year-old boys playing a game of basketball or volleyball. In this game, one boy runs with the ball while the others try to take it. They take the game seriously but enjoy themselves immensely.

One day, a boy named Karthik started crying because he hadn’t had a chance to touch the ball. Another boy, Raja, recognized Karthik’s feelings, paused the game, and handed him the ball, saying, “This time, Karthik is ‘it.’ Let’s go!”

The problem was quickly resolved, and the game continued. The boys’ primary goal was to keep the game going, so they swiftly addressed emotions and returned to play.

Now imagine if this situation involved women instead. (I'll leave the details of this scenario to your imagination.)

Whether they are 8 or 48, men generally prefer to set aside emotions in order to maintain the playfulness and enjoyment in their relationships.

Ultimately, men desire to feel wanted, adored, and accepted just as they are.
