दुनियाभर में 17 मई को वर्ल्ड हाइपरटेंशन डे मनाया जाता है. दुनिया भर के अधिकतर लोग ब्लड प्रेशर की समस्या से पीड़ित हैं. इस बीमारी के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करने के लिए ये दिन मनाया जाता है. वहीं, आधुनिक जीवनशैली में युवा भी तेजी से हाइपरटेंशन जैसी समस्याओं की चपेट में आ रहे हैं.
हाइपरटेंशन या हाई ब्लड प्रेशर को 'साइलेंट किलर' भी कहा जाता है, क्योंकि शुरुआती समय में इसके लक्षण सामने नहीं आते हैं. हालांकि, इस बीमारी को नजरअंदाज करने से स्वास्थ्य संबंधी गंभीर समस्याएं जैसे स्ट्रोक, आंखों की रोशनी कम होना, डिमेंशिया, हार्ट अटैक और किडनी की परेशानी हो सकती है.

A nasal shot, formally called “intranasal” vaccine, is administered by squirting or spraying the solution into the nostrils instead of injecting it in the arm.
If approved, a nasal Covid-19 vaccine would be a low-cost alternative for the developing world.

According to the announced results, early treatment helped reduce the level of SARS-CoV2. Patients treated with the spray saw an average reduction of around 95% in viral load in the first 24 hours, and more than 99% within 72 hours. No side effects or adverse events were observed.
