The primary reason and idea to start this center of eye care is to provide specialty services to the community. The idea is to combine old fashioned eye care with the latest methods of medicine that provides an edge of the current technology. We primarily focus on providing the widest range of surgical procedure to correct cataracts which are the major cause of preventable blindness in our population. We also aim to hold eye camps to screen and identify patients in need of services especially in rural areas. We aim to attain the latest evidence based standard of care, exceeding your expectations with highest quality eye care from professional staff combining old fashioned caring with the latest technology.

A free camp held at the Ashakirana blind school, chikmagalure where 86 students were provided eye check up, glass prescription and treatment free of cost. Also started the "donate a spectacle" campaign wherein doners are encouraged to donate towards a spectacle glass of a near-blind child making a difference in their life. You may make your contribution by contacting the hospital.
