40 year old women with complaints of on and off bleeding pv since 6 month, history of persistent white discharge and lower abdominal pain , not relieved by medication.. patient was referred from churu around 200km from Jaipur for further management..... patient took multiple opinions but no definitive diagnosis was made.. After a series of multiple usg of which some were suggestive of cervical fibroid, adenomyosis, fibroid polyp.. Patient had previous negative endometrial biopsy as well as cervical biopsy for carcinoma cervix...
Finally patient turned into our clinic where on per speculum examination cervical growth was felt 3 by 4 cm along with bleed on touch was present, but the parametrium was free..
so patient planned for radical hysterectomy with all the due risk explained along with plan for pelvic lymph node removal..
Patient operated successfully along radical hysterectomy with pelvic lymph node dissection. Histopathology of uterus cervix along with lymph nodes sent... Histopathology suggestive of squamous cell carcinoma of cervix..
