Shivesh Autism Charitable Trust Shivesh Autism Centre was started in 2006, under the trust to serve children with autism by providing various therapies,activities and awareness to public.

Shivesh Autism Centre is a NGO and Recognized as a special school for Autism by the State commissioner of the Dept of Rehabilitation, Tamilnadu. Shivesh Autism Centre was started on August 27,2006 in memory of Mr.Nandabalan and Mrs.Geetha Raja’s elder son Mr.N.Sivakumar,who passed away on August 27,2003 at the age of 21.Sivakumar was autistic ,and at that time there wasnt much of an awareness about autism and after a certain age his parents were clueless on what to be done till his end.This, later motivated Mrs.Geetha to learn and research more on Autism and start an Autism centre to help the affected children and create awareness among public. Shivesh did awareness programs in public and counseling for the parents with Autistic child.Mrs.Geetha wanted these children to get educated like the mainstream i,e normal children and so started the Shivesh Nursery and Primary School,which now provides regular academic curriculum for these children through individualized educational program.The therapies given additionally are Speech Therapy,Occupational therapy,Music and Dance.A few children with mild symptoms were given early intervention and have been made to join regular schools
