Basic principles of healthy sleep for children .

1 .Have a set bedtime and bedtime routine for your child .

2. Bed time and wake up Time should be about the same time on school night and non school nights .

3 .make the hour before bed shared quiet time - avoid high energy activity ,watching television or playing computer games .

4 .don't send ur child to bed hungry - a light snack before bed good idea ,heavy meals within 1 hour or 2 hour of bed time may interfere sleep .

5. Avoid product containing caffeine before bed time

6. make sure your child spends time outside everyday in outdoor activities.

7. keep ur child bedroom quiet and dark - a low level night light is acceptable .

8. keep ur child bedroom at comfortable temperature during the night .

9. Don't use your child bedroom for timeout or punishment.

10 . keep the television set out of your child bedroom .

In view of recent spike in covid cases, several patients are in need of medical care and home isolation. Several families cant afford isolation within home due to limited space and resources at home. In view of limited availability of hospital beds, new covid care centres are being opened up where mostly stable patients are planned for admission.

We appeal all doctors (MBBS/ MD) who can give their time for taking care of covid patients who are admitted at these centres. Basic duties would involve triage of patients as per vitals and clinical judgement, prescribing treatment, guiding nursing care volunteers and prescribing referral to hospitals.

Please volunteer for this service to our country and fellow citizens. Doctors who wish to serve, will be provided certificates for this noble work and will be appropriately compensated for their duties along with facilities for well equipped duty room and transportation.

Please fill the form if you are a registered doctor in Delhi and would like to volunteer at Isolation centers in collaboration with National Medicos Organization. If you’re an MBBS student, do mention your batch in the respective section.
