"Whatever happened, has happened for good, whatever is happening is also for good. Whatever will happen, shall also be for good.

What have you lost that you cry for? What did you bring, that you have lost? What did you create that was destroyed? What you have taken, Has been from here. What you gave has been given here

What belongs to you today, belonged to someone yesterday and will be someone else’s tomorrow.

Change is the law of The Universe "

- The Bhagavad Gita

This too shall pass. Nothing is permanent in our lives. Moments come and go. Days pass by, turning into weeks, months, then years reinforcing that change is constant and impermanence is the law of the universe. As we let go of the past, not worry about the future, we surrender and allow ourselves to embrace the power of the present moment 🙏

Pause. Take a breath. Reflect. Go inwards. Taking things one step at a time. Trusting in the process. By letting go the need to arrange our lives, we step into the unknown, wisdom of uncertainty, freedom from our past, our actions are blissfully free from attachment to outcome. We are open to the field of all possibilities, magic of synchrodestiny, we surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe ✨✨✨

It’s breathtaking natural beauty aside, Himalayas is also enormously endowed with rich culture and heritage. Places in the mountains have spiritual connection and there are many Tibetan monasteries and ancient temples that cover the region. 🌄

Tibetan Prayer flags are colourful, rectangular cloths that are hung to promote compassion, peace, strength and wisdom and they are used to carry prayers and mantras through the wind. Blue symbolizes sky and space. White symbolizes air and wind. Red symbolizes fire. Green symbolizes water and yellow symbolizes earth.

The renowned Mahakal Temple in Darjeeling is where the original Dorjeling Monastery was and now is called Bhutia Busti Monastery. The original monastery was plundered in 1815 during Gorka invasion and was rebuilt on 1861. Today when you visit the temple, Hindu priests chant prayers and Buddhist monks read out their holy scripts, as both faiths harmoniously coexist together 🙏📿

There is also other monasteries and temples throughout Himalayas such as Hemis Monastery & Lamayuru in Ladakh, Boudhanath in Nepal, Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) in Bhutan.

Did you know that the Himalaya mountains have been charged with spiritual vibrations for thousands of years?

Just like we have our own energy centres or chakras, Mother Earth also has hers. Our beautiful planet has got many strong energy fields & vortexes and Himalayas is the Earth’s Crown Chakra. In particular the crown jewel of Himalayas in Mt Kailash, Tibet. Whenever we connect with these places such as Himalayas, it can have a profound effect on our energy. Our aura receives a calming high frequency energy. This crown chakra broadcasts Earth’s true will and connecting with this vibe/energy into our life helps us become more in tune with our life purpose & soul blueprint which leads to us listening to our higher self, intuition more 🌠🔮✨

Prana or ‘life force energy’ flourishes with abundance in the Himalayas. When we do yogic practices we move large quantities of prana throughout the body, purifying ourselves of physical, mental, karmic & energetic impurities which would otherwise imbalance the mind. Once we have made this space in our being, we become fit to become a vessel for prana.

The abundance of life energy and high spiritual vibrations in the Himalayas is felt simply by being in their presence. Sacred places are perfect for enriching your life with deep spiritual awakening, which support the inward investigation of life. 🙏💫

Why we should practice yoga in the Himalayas? 🌄💗

*Himalayas is believed to be the birthplace of meditation & yoga and it has been central to scriptures, myths, and legends of countless cultures and religions. Himalayas has also been linked to Self-realised masters for thousands of years where saints & Rishis have meditated, as these mountains embody spiritual aspiration and humankind’s highest potential.

Meditation on Phalut, one of the highest peaks of Singalila range located in Darjeeling at an altitude of 11,811 ft. The world’s tallest peaks Mt Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu can be seen on the Sandakphu Phalut Trek 🏔

Why should we practice yoga and meditation in the Himalayas? 🌄
Practising yoga in the mountains has benefits for our three major areas (body, heart, mind) as series of asanas (physical yoga postures) and pranayama (yogic breathing techniques) performed at a higher altitude where air is pure, it allows the body & brain to be more oxygenated, stimulating our cardiovascular system and increasing energy flooding into our bodies.
There can be no better place to learn & practice the holistic system and ancient art & science of Yoga in Himalayas amidst the majestic mountains as it facilitates and rebalances our mind, body, spirit connection which elevates the level of human consciousness.
