👓 Honoring the Legacy of late Shri Hari Ram Bhatt 👓

In 1963, he opened Dehradun’s first optical shop and became the first in the city to receive a lens exporting license. His pioneering efforts not only placed Dehradun on the map for quality eyewear but also laid the foundation for modern optical practices in the region.

His work was always people-focused:

🔹 He introduced accurate corrective lenses, ensuring that men, women, and children could see clearly and live better lives.

🔹 He carried out early detection of glaucoma and cataract himself, helping many avoid preventable blindness at a time when such care was rare.

🔹He was one of the first to bring leading international eyewear brands to Dehradun, raising standards of quality and choice.

His dedication and foresight helped H.R. Bhatt Optical gain recognition across Uttarakhand, becoming a trusted name in eye care for generations.
More than an optician, Mr. H.R. Bhatt was a pioneer, a caregiver, and a visionary whose values continue to guide us today.
