Grand Welcome to Pharmacy Awareness Yatra in Jabalpur, Educators Show Remarkable Unity; Yatra Flagged Off for Nagpur
Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh: The 6th Pharmacy Awareness Yatra 2026 received a grand and dignified welcome today at Gyan Ganga Institute of Pharmacy, Jabalpur. The event witnessed the gracious presence of principals, professors, academicians, and pharmacy professionals from various institutions across the city, reflecting strong unity and commitment towards the pharmacy profession.
The program was attended by Dr. Seema Kohli (Mentor, Pharmalok & Head, Govt. Polytechnic College, Jabalpur), Dr. Bhanu Jain, Dr. Megha Verma (Organising Secretary & Principal, Gyan Ganga Institute), Dr. Pradeep Golani (Pharmalok Coordinator, Madhya Pradesh & HOD), Dr. Devendra Singh Lodhi (Pharmalok Coordinator & Professor), Dr. Vikas Pandey (Dean, Mangalayatan University), Dr. Rajesh Shukla, Dr. Gopal Rai, Dr. Saras Jain, Dr. Ashish Garg, Dr. Amit Jain, Dr. Shweta Garg, Mr. Rahul Nayak, and Ms. Aditi Banerjee, along with several other distinguished academicians.
Despite being a Sunday and the festival of Holi, the gathering of representatives from multiple pharmacy institutions at one venue created an inspiring, enthusiastic, and historic atmosphere, demonstrating their dedication to the advancement of pharmacy education and profession.
The program commenced with floral tribute to Goddess Saraswati, symbolizing the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom.
In her inaugural address, Mentor Pharmalok Dr. Seema Kohli highlighted the significance of the Pharmacy Awareness Yatra in strengthening the pharmacy profession, connecting educators and students, and creating awareness about the vital role of pharmacists in healthcare.
Dr. Megha Verma, Principal of the host institute, welcomed the guests and emphasized the importance of collective efforts to enhance the quality and future of pharmacy education.
On this occasion, Team Pharmalok (Amit Jha) addressed the gathering and explained the vision and objectives of the Yatra. He called upon teachers and professionals to come forward and actively contribute towards the upliftment, recognition, and empowerment of the pharmacy profession. His message was warmly appreciated and supported by the audience.
Dr. Vikas Pandey also shared his valuable insights, emphasizing academic excellence, professional unity, and the need for continuous development in pharmacy education.
The program was effectively conducted by Dr. Devendra Singh Lodhi, while Dr. Pradeep Golani played a key role in coordinating and supporting the successful organization of the event in Jabalpur.
During the ceremony, all distinguished guests were felicitated by the host institute. Team Pharmalok (Amit Jha) also honored the representatives of various institutions by presenting the photograph of Prof. M. L. Schroff, the Father of Indian Pharmacy, along with participation certificates as a token of appreciation.
At the conclusion of the program, all principals and faculty members jointly flagged off the Pharmacy Awareness Yatra for its next destination, Nagpur, popularly known as the Orange City, where the Yatra will continue its mission by visiting various pharmacy institutions and conducting awareness activities.
This event marked a significant milestone in promoting unity, awareness, and collective responsibility among pharmacy educators and professionals, reaffirming their commitment to the bright future of the pharmacy profession.
