Due to the habitual poking chin Or a military posture can result in a shortening of the occipital muscles. It also cause cervical spine to change alignment resulting in increased stress on the facet joints and posterior discs and other posterior elements.
- this position may lead to weakness of the deep flexors, Rhomboids, serratus anterior and often the lower Trapezius muscles.
- opposite this weak muscles tight pectoralis major and minor along with upper traps and lavator scapula muscle.
