I recently participated in the Apollo Athena Breast Cancer Conference on March 7-8, coinciding with International Women's Day! 🌸 The theme, "From Grey Zones to Black and White in Management of Breast Cancer," was spot on, tackling real-world case scenarios to unravel every ambiguity in diagnosis, treatment, and decision-making.

The format was outstanding—case-based discussions that bridged evidence to practice, making complex topics crystal clear. I had the privilege of serving as a panelist on **Axillary Treatment De-escalation**, sharing insights on precision in radiation oncology for better patient outcomes.

Loved the dedicated sessions for budding oncologists—empowering the next generation! A huge shoutout to Dr. K. Geeta for curating such an impactful program. Grateful for the multidisciplinary collaboration and forward-thinking vibe.

International Women’s day was a reason to celebrate with the inspiring International Diabetes Association (IDA) East Delhi .What stood out was the high-powered lineup, resembling a TEDx extravaganza! Psychologists, communication experts, and fellow oncologists delivered riveting talks on holistic women’s wellness – from mental health to preventive care. Kudos to IDA for championing this multidisciplinary approach!

The community engagement shone through wellness talks, graced by the motivational Ms. Priyanka Gautam, the counselor whose wisdom truly uplifted and empowered every woman present. Moments like these fuel our mission for healthier futures. This community program was striking as women were embracing the iconic purple theme – a powerful symbol of women’s empowerment, courage, and hope. The striking purple logo beautifully captured this essence, reminding us of the strength in unity and resilience.

Grateful for platforms promoting . Let’s continue breaking barriers! 💜

The Fabulous February was packed with meaningful commitments to advance oncology education and patient care! It did leave me with some sleep deprivation though ☺️

As we reflected on World Cancer Day (Feb 4) and Childhood Cancer Day (Feb 15), I was honored to contribute through to meetings devoted to these causes.

On occasion of birthday of Mrs Sarojini Naidu I Attended the inspiring Women in Oncology Conference conducted by Dr Meenu Walia .I participated as a panelist to an engaging session on Ovarian cancer moderated by Dr Anita Ramesh

Carcinoma Endometrium was also the focus area of my deliberations through the 2 panels which I moderated namely
The RUBY Trial in endometrial cancers—discussing its transformative impact on immunotherapy and survival outcomes.
The PORTEC4a trial for High Intermediate Risk Ca Endometrial carcinoma.

It was a great learning experience participating in a webinar on the NIVOprost trial exploring promising role of Nivulumab in adjuvant setting in Head and neck cancer treatment conducted beautifully by Dr Shilpi Sharma.

I spoke in Bihar Cancer Conclave in Patna on the optimal radiation dose and fractionation in 2026 for better precision and outcomes. It was an amazing conference curated by Dr Abhishek from Paras Hospitals.

It was a different experience to be part of the Springer Nature Book Summit on Feb 23, networking with global leaders in medical publishing and research dissemination.

Another interesting conference worth mentioning was the Interonc 2026 at MAMC where specialists from alopathy, homeopathy and Ayurveda dwelled on how we can integrate cohesively towards improving patient treatment outcomes .

These platforms remind us why we do this work: to drive innovation, equity, and hope in the fight against cancer. Excited for the discussions ahead!

Historic HPV Vaccination Rollout in India!🇮🇳💉

A monumental day for public health! Today, PM Narendra Modi launched the nationwide HPV vaccination programme for 14-year-old girls, targeting 1.15 crore girls annually with free doses at government facilities like Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and hospitals.
This visionary govt initiative is a game-changer against cervical cancer—the leading cause of cancer deaths in Indian women—by protecting girls before HPV exposure, reducing transmission, and paving the way for elimination as a public health threat.

Kudos to the govt for this equitable, voluntary drive with robust safety measures! Let's ensure every eligible girl gets vaccinated.
We at Nararayan Health always believe in screening and prevention as the way to transforming the disease burden dynamics.

Did you know gall bladder cancer is one of the most common cancers in India, especially among women? Often called a "silent killer," it hides in the gall bladder – that small organ under your liver that stores bile to digest fats. By the time symptoms like jaundice, abdominal pain, nausea, or unexplained weight loss appear, the cancer may have advanced.
