The past week has been a true reminder of how vibrant and collaborative our oncology community is.

It began with the SGRH conference, steered with vision by Dr. Shyam Agarwal Sir, where I was privileged to join panels on SCLC and EGFR-positive NSCLC — an opportunity for rich case discussions and meaningful exchange of ideas.

At the EHNO meeting, Dr. Sowrabh Arora curated an agenda full of timely, relevant science in head and neck cancers. It was a special honour to chair a session on oropharyngeal cancer by Dr. Sarbani Ghosh Laskar, who brought clarity and depth to a critical topic.

At the Action Cancer Hospital academic event led by Dr. Manoj Sharma, I spoke on the evolving role of radiation therapy for intermediate-risk breast cancer, especially around tailoring treatment volumes and indications after neoadjuvant systemic therapy. The conversations reinforced the need for constant learning and adaptation in our field.

A particular highlight was also joining the NH Collegium meeting at MSCC Bengaluru. Meeting fellow oncologists from across the NH network highlighted the value of open dialogue and the collective wisdom that shapes our patient care.

Grateful for these learning moments and the camaraderie that keeps us striving — together — for better outcomes and brighter futures in oncology
