An important international meeting was held at the Andijan State Medical Institute. The Ambassador of the Republic of India, Ms. Smita Pant, visited and got acquainted with the conditions created for foreign, especially Indian, students studying at the institute.
The guests were warmly welcomed by the rector of the institute, M. Madazimov, and the vice-rector for international relations, F. Rasulov. During the visit, the delegation first visited the institute's clinic and got acquainted with the modern conditions created there to strengthen the practical knowledge of students, treatment processes, and the capabilities of the clinical base.
After that, the guests visited the newly built 2,000-seat educational building, where they got acquainted with the modern auditoriums, technical equipment, and educational environment. The educational and practical processes organized in the Simulation and Certification Center aroused great interest. It was especially recognized that this center allows students to develop knowledge and skills in conditions close to real clinical situations.

The issues of creating more comfortable conditions for foreign students, improving the quality of their education and living standards were discussed. In particular, proposals and ideas were exchanged on enriching the library collection with modern and foreign literature, further improving living conditions in student dormitories, as well as meaningful organization of students' free time.
This meeting was an important step towards further strengthening mutual cooperation, expanding international educational ties, and increasing the attractiveness of the Andijan State Medical Institute for foreign students.
