Visuals from the spot where a man named Bikshu Lal, aged about 40 years, died after being hit by a car while he was standing on his bike at the roadside in the Moti Nagar area last night.

The car driver fled from the scene after the accident. The Police are searching for the accused.

The removal of Budh Bazar from Natraj Road is nothing short of a betrayal to the thousands who voted for in the MCD elections, hoping for development and better infrastructure.

People didn’t vote for the livelihoods of street vendors to be destroyed. They voted for cleaner roads, safer streets, and inclusive growth. Yet, instead of clearing the real clutter or improving conditions, the authorities chose to target the very people who make the street come alive every Wednesday.
