The session aimed to educate and empower the public with life-saving skills to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Resuscitation Week – Day 2 Activity

As part of the ongoing Resuscitation Week (13th–17th October 2025), a demonstration of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) was conducted today for patients and attendants visiting the hospital. The session aimed to create awareness about the importance of timely CPR in saving lives during cardiac emergencies.

The doctors and staff of the Department of Anaesthesia led the demonstration, showcasing practical steps of Basic Life Support (BLS) and hands-on CPR techniques. A video of the session is being uploaded for wider dissemination and to encourage more people to learn this vital lifesaving skill.

🫀 Resuscitation Week: 13–17 October 2025 🫀

Day 1 of Resuscitation Week began with great enthusiasm as the hospital staff took a pledge to save lives through timely CPR and resuscitation efforts. 💪

In the coming days, a series of awareness sessions, demonstrations, and training activities will be organised as per the directions of the Health & Family Welfare Department to enhance preparedness and response in cardiac emergencies.

On second day of Covid -19 vaccination
Dy Speaker Delhi Vidhan Sabha , Madam Rakhi Birla visited the hospital and boosted the moral of the vaccination team.

WHO team under leadership of Dr.Qaiser Nizami also came for round and interacted with the staff at Aruna Asaf Ali Hospital .
