"Caring for the community since 1914..." With its presence in 6 districts in North India, the institution provides care where there is none.

SCEH collaborates with patrons and partners to strive to achieve its Mission. Ongoing projects include- 1. Building capacities in rural India with Standard Chartered PLC's Seeing is Believing; 2. Screening and helping Diabetic Retinopathy patients with WDF, Denmark; 3. Community based rehabilitation with CBM, Germany; 4. Project Prakash- Research and treatment of Congenital Blindness with the Department of Neuro sciences and Artificial Intelligence, MIT, USA; 5. Ujagar- A resource centre for the Visually impaired with Adobe, India; 6. Training young girls from rural communities in paramedical eye care- in collaboration with Unniti Foundation, India. Every year, countless nameless patients and citizens donate varying amounts of money to help us facilitate the care they want to provide their bretheren.
