Marya’s Dental & Implant Centre was established around 30 years ago in Greater Kailash- Part 2, Delhi. The clinic is run by husband and wife, Dr Karan Marya and Dr Geetanjali Marya. Dr Karan Marya is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon who alongside his practice, formerly was a professor at Santosh dental college and is a certified implantologist. Dr Geetanjali Marya is a general dentist, whose focus is towards aesthetic dentistry. The clinic is located on the main road and is open 6 days a week from 9:30am-1:30 pm and 4:00pm to 7:30pm. The clinic offers a vast variety of services including:

Routine Consultations during Covid-19

These times are too difficult to express in words. Especially when it comes to our profession as Dentists.

No one can predict the future. But there is a lot of speculation about what the future holds for dentistry when the pandemic is behind us.

The experience up until now suggests strict protocol and measures that need to be taken.

In a dental setup, in addition to droplets, procedures on patients due to the use of high speed handpiece and ultrasonic instruments may lead to a release of saliva or blood causing the virus to aerosolize into the surroundings.

Thus, transmission can also occur through indirect contact by touching contaminated surfaces followed by self-delivery to the eyes, nose, or mouth.

For routine Consultations, one can feel comfortable in wearing a gown, double mask, eyewear, double gloves and a face shield. When procedures including emergencies are involved, wearing the entire personal protective equipment is the safest way to proceed so far.
