Patient reported with central incisor caries and esthetic concern. On iopa xray caries looks close to canal. careful excavation was done and dycal base given. to mask the yellow colour opaque shade was used. the filling was done using ips empress from ivoclar and optrasculpt pad was helpful in countouring. sharing the entire case photos.

This patient came with a broken composite filling between the maxillary central incisors. Pt was given both options of either frenectomy (maxillary frenum was active) followed by orthodontic closure or composite rebuildup in the diastema area. Pt opted for the latter and composite buildup was done by the students after removing the old leftover composite. The results were satisfactory for the pt.

In this case patient complained of pain despite previous history of root canal. Reopening was done and we searched for lingual canal in 41 which was successfully traced, prepared and obturated. Great work done by students.
