just thought of sharing my experience of removing the broken tooth fragment using a hand file......

A Female patient’ age 29 years, came to my clinic with the complain of pain in lower right back tooth. She got it filled somewhere else 2 days back . On IOPAR mesial pulp horn was involved in 46. RCT was advised. Patient insisted on extraction. Tooth was well luxated but mesial root broke while extraction. I tried for some time but could not make room between bone and the root fragment to remove it. But finally the fragment was extracted by engaging it with no. 40 file.

DACS (Dental Awareness Camp For Students), was organised in New Sandhya Public School,Karawal Nagar Road,Chandu Nagar. A special thanks to the respected principal Mr. K.P. Joshi and their staff members for their cooperation and support. Students were really nice and quite interactive. There was a brief presentation on oral structures,common dental problems and oral hygiene maintenance. At the end bookmarks were distributed to the students with Six Golden Rules For Healthy Teeth printed on them. All over it was a nice experience.
