Harsh meaning 'Happiness' is the most desirable state of mind. Indeed, all of us, consciously or subconsciously, are motivated in all we do by our need for happiness. A housewife strives for a neat and clean home, well-brought up children and a happy family for her to be happy with her own self. On the other hand husband aims to make more money so as to take care of his family. We chase money, health, fame, power, property and relationships, not for their own sake but for the satisfaction they promise. The quest for happiness has taken mankind on many strange journeys. Many have arrived at destinations never imagined or thought. We lose our own ways and end up with rejections and sorrows. But if we live life consciously and knowing what we want rather than what others expect from us, we can end up living happily, says Harsh Arora. Kindness is one of the most underestimated relationship superpowers.

Whether it’s in our personal lives or professional spaces, small acts of kindness have the power to deepen trust, create connection, and strengthen communities.

As a relationship coach, I often remind my clients that kindness doesn’t have to be grand, it’s the consistency that makes it transformative. Here are a few simple ways to weave kindness into your everyday life:

💛 Offer a Helping Hand – Notice when someone could use support. Maybe it’s a neighbor juggling groceries or a teammate overwhelmed with a deadline. A small gesture can truly shift someone’s day.

💬 Give Sincere Compliments – Genuine recognition goes a long way. When you notice something positive about someone, just say it! You never know how much that moment of appreciation might mean for that person.

👂 Listen with Presence – Sometimes, people don’t need advice, they just need to feel heard. Practice active listening. It’s one of the purest forms of kindness.

🙏 Practice Gratitude – Take a few moments each day to reflect on what you’re thankful for and express it. Gratitude strengthens emotional bonds and brings more positivity into your world.

💫 Forgive Others (and Yourself ) – We all make mistakes. Letting go of resentment and offering compassion (even to yourself) creates space for growth and peace.

Kindness costs nothing, yet its impact is immeasurable. Start small, be intentional, and watch the ripple effect spread, to your relationships, your workplace, and your own sense of fulfillment.

✨ Let’s make kindness our daily practice.

"My name’s Veronica. I’m 80. I live alone in a small apartment above a hardware store in Brighton. I don’t have much, but I get by. Pension. A little savings. My garden on the balcony, mint, thyme, and one stubborn tomato plant.

Every Friday, I go to the same supermarket. Same time. Same cart. I buy tea, bread, canned soup, and always... always a chocolate bar. My treat.

One rainy afternoon, I was in line behind a young woman. She had two toddlers with her. One was crying softly. The other was holding a stuffed rabbit missing an eye.

She put everything on the belt, milk, eggs, rice, frozen peas, diapers. Her hands were shaking.

When the cashier said the total $38.76, she froze....

She pulled out a card. It declined.

She tried another. Declined.

She whispered something to the cashier. “Can I take the milk and bread out?” Her voice broke.

That’s when I did something without thinking.

I handed my card to the cashier. “Put it all on mine.”

The woman turned. Eyes wide. “No, I can’t”

“You can,” I said. “We all need help sometimes.”

I smiled. Grabbed my small bag. Left before she could thank me.

I didn’t do it for thanks.

I remembered being young. Broke. Scared. Raising my son after my husband left. I once stood in a line just like that... and no one helped.

So I paid. And went home.

But here’s what I didn’t know.

That woman, her name is Leila wrote about it on a community Facebook group that night.

“A stranger paid for my groceries today. An older lady with grey hair and kind eyes. She didn’t lecture me. Didn’t ask for anything. Just paid. And walked away. I cried in the car. My kids ate dinner that night because of her. If you know her, tell her... thank you isn’t enough.”

Someone commented “Wait - was she wearing a yellow raincoat?”

Another “She lives above Thompson’s Hardware, right? I see her watering plants every morning.”

Within hours, people started showing up at my door.

Not reporters. Not cameras.

Neighbors.

They brought flowers. A jar of homemade jam. A hand-knitted scarf.

One teenager left a note “You paid for her. I’ll pay forward, I’m tutoring kids at the youth center free now.”

Then came the letters.

A nurse “I stayed late to comfort a patient last night. Because you reminded me kindness matters.”

A man recovering from addiction “I returned a wallet I found. Thought of you.”

And Leila? She visited me last week. Brought her kids. We sat on my balcony. Drank tea. The little one gave me the one-eyed rabbit. “He likes you,” she said.

I still go to the store every Friday.

Now, sometimes, someone pays for my chocolate bar.

And I let them.

Because kindness doesn’t end.
It just waits.... for someone brave enough to start it.

And if you’re wondering
you don’t need money to give hope.
You just need to see someone.
Really see them.
And say, without words,
“I’ve been there. I’m with you.”

That’s how the world gets better.
Not in big speeches.
Not in headlines.

But in quiet moments.
Between ordinary people.
Who choose to care.”

Beautiful story to remind that

What have you truly earned in this life, if not the genuine love of someone—sacred, pristine, and magnificent?*

While reading these lines this morning, reflected on my 17 years of journey as relationship and intimacy coach and I’ve come to realize that our greatest accomplishments aren’t just found in titles, accolades, or milestones—they’re found in the quality of our connections.

We live in a world that glorifies productivity, performance, and external validation. But behind closed doors, what we truly seek is something far more essential: to be seen, to be chosen, and to be loved—for exactly who we are.

Genuine love—the kind that feels sacred, pristine, and magnificent—is not accidental. It is cultivated through awareness, vulnerability, and an unwavering commitment to growth, both within ourselves and with others.

To those committed to leading with both strength and softness: may you earn not just success, but connection. Not just recognition, but deep, meaningful love.

Let’s not forget: Love is the ultimate currency.

In an age where the ease of disengagement — be it ghosting, “swiping left,” or simply walking away — is ever-present, it’s crucial to acknowledge and truly value those who choose a different path.
Focus your appreciation on individuals who are committed to staying present, openly communicating their feelings, and actively working through challenges with you. These are the foundation of authentic connection and lasting relationships.

In every home, a father is more than just a provider—he’s a silent strength, a guiding hand, and a heart full of unconditional love. From early mornings chasing goals to late nights making sure the lights stay on for his children’s dreams, Papa never asks for much—just a smile, a hug, and maybe a cup of chai shared in quiet company.

He may not always say “I love you” in words, but you’ll feel it when he checks if you’ve eaten, when he insists on dropping you to the bus stop, or when he saves your old report cards like precious treasures.

Today, lets celebrate every father—the ones who taught us values by living them, who stood tall so we could reach higher, and who continue to be our biggest support, whether from the next room or across the miles.

To all the Papas, Appas, Babas & Pitajis—thank you for loving your families in the most selfless ways. You are the real hero and will always be. ❤️

Being in the Moment is enough.*

If we become aware of the fact that each moment is unique, we will not need to carry on looking for happiness.

As you end your day, reflect on this and enjoy each moment you have with your self and your loved ones.

Happy World Gratitude Day!

Today, let’s pause and reflect on the incredible blessings that we often overlook—*the gift of being alive and the relationships that nourish our souls.*

As a life and relationship coach, I’ve seen firsthand how much we tend to focus on what’s missing rather than what’s *already present* in our lives. But the truth is, the mere act of waking up to a new day, having people around us to share life with—whether it’s family, friends, or a partner—is a blessing beyond measure.

means you have the opportunity to grow, to experience, to love, and to transform. Every breath is a chance to begin again, to repair relationships, to deepen intimacy, and to create memories that will last a lifetime.

Our relationships—whether smooth or challenging—shape us, teach us, and remind us of our capacity for love and connection. They are the threads that weave the fabric of our lives, giving meaning to each day.

So today, let’s express gratitude for:

- The people who support us, challenge us, and help us grow.
- The love we receive and the love we give.
- The simple moments of connection that make life beautiful.

Remember, gratitude not only deepens our appreciation but strengthens the bonds we share. As you reflect today, take a moment to tell someone you care about how much they mean to you.

Here’s to a life filled with love, connection, and unending gratitude.
❤️ 🙏
