Happy moment for a Spine Surgeon is to watch a paralyzed patient walking again 🙏🦶
A 60-year-old gentleman came to me bedridden, paralyzed, unable to walk for 1 year, with bladder involvement due to dorsal myelopathy.
He had been suffering for 3 long years and had already undergone two spine surgeries elsewhere… but his problem persisted.
After detailed evaluation, we found the root cause—
➡️ The previous surgery was done at the wrong spinal level
➡️ Significant compression was still present
We planned and performed surgery at the correct level, followed by focused physiotherapy.
Today, seeing him stand and walk with supportis a feeling that words can’t truly describe ❤️
This is the real joy of being a spine surgeon — *giving movement, dignity, and hope back to life.*
