पैन्क्रियाटिक कैंसर तब तक लक्षण नहीं दिखाता जब तक यह क्रिटिकल न बन जाए। इसके जो शुरुआती लक्षण दिखते भी हैं वे अन्य बीमारियों से मिलते-जुलते होते हैं ।
ऐसे में ज्यादातर मामलों में मरीज उन अन्य बीमारियों का ही इलाज करवाने लगता है, जिससे पैन्क्रियाटिक कैंसर को शरीर में बढ़ने का मौका मिल जाता है।
