Happy Marriage- An Astrological Hypotheses

All have a dream to achieve a state of happy marriage. Let us understand it in a simple astrological way to analyse for ourselves where we stand.

In a horoscope, marriage is represented by 7 house- it’s sign, lordship and the planets positioned and the aspects, which in astrological terms is called PAC. Secondly the karka for marriage is the planet Venus.

Before we delve into the above points we need to review the three legs of a horoscope. These are Sun, Moon and Ascending sign and it’s lord. These three parameters must be strong and affliction free specially aspects from Saturn. Once we have assessed the above points we can move to marriage karka and 7th Lord.

Simplistically benefic in 7th house or 7th lord a benefic and free from afflictions gives happy marriage. Additionally there should not be any malefic aspects on 7th house.

Another important feature in the scheme of things is Venus. Exalted or in its own signs without affliction is another condition of happy marriage in our horoscope.

My study reveals very low numbers of horoscopes where above conditions exist. Hardly 10 -15 percent horoscopes have above conditions fulfilled for both partners. Also non compliance to be above parameters doesn’t necessarily mean that marriage is a failure. Situation can work if matching of horoscopes is done judicially.

So all of you adjust and learn to live happily using your strength of will power and make it work. This doesn’t mean we should allow to be oppressed or victimised.

This is an effort to make ourselves stronger with knowledge and make our dream possible . My take is ‘Karma’ has a role to play in our lives. Also, what is a happy marriage in real life scenario? This is not the end of the subject, it is a beginning.

There have been many cases where a boy and a girl had an affair for several years but when they get married, things don’t go smoothly and quite often they go in for separation. Let us understand the astrology behind it.

The question often asked is If the marriage was done after matching the horoscopes then why divorce happens. Let me make it clear that matching is no guarantee that divorce will not happen but we can minimise the probability.

An affair is the result of romantic vibes between a boy and a girl. It can be astrologically assessed by 5L, ascendent and it’s sign along with Leo. In addition to this planets Uranus, Neptune, Mars and Venus are to be analysed. The resulting position, aspects and conjunctions will define the intensity, quality and longevity of an affair.

In case of marriage the astrology will be based on 7th house lord, it’s sign and Libra sign along with ascendent. In addition to above planet Venus also need to be studied. The benefic planets will result into stable and durable marriage. Sun and Moon also do play their part in the drama, not to mention dasha lords and Transits.

Also, if in a relationship you notice that you are being continuously being ‘used’ then it is the time for ‘introspection’. Another important point is ‘the taken for granted attitude towards spouse’. Your Life Your Choice

Some of my clients have asked this question in an attempt to understand their own life. Let us analyse this in depth about how and what happens to us all and how astrology is related to this.

There is a notion that astrology predicts our future. This is not true. Our horoscope indicates various possibilities in our life, like if I have to go to Rohini from South Delhi, I have several possibilities like using cab, going by metro, going by bus or using my own vehicle. Out of these possibilities, the experience of my future ride will depend on the option I choose. So is applicable in real life about making choices.

As mentioned, astrological horoscope indicates what are various possibilities or choices to achieve our goals in life. We have to recognise these possibilities or boundaries and work with in them to achieve our goals in life in future.

For example if my horoscope shows the possibilities that I will be good in service but I choose to set up my own independent occupation like a shop or a business.

The point to be understood is that if I have chosen the possibility of setting up my own business than I have gone contrary to what is recommended by the possibilities in my horoscope regarding my profession so the results will be not up to the expectations and will be slow in coming like rowing a boat against the flow.

On the basis of this we can understand that our future is decided by us not by our horoscope. Similarly, my life is perfect or happy or peaceful is in line with the decisions I have taken in life. So will be yours.

Remember no one escapes Karma. We all have to go through this grind. So let us stop this blame game or escapist tendencies and take control of our lives and choose the possibilities in a way to facilitate bright future. It is all about making correct and timely choice. I am the product of choices I have made.

Astrology of ‘DIL’ n ‘MIL’

DIL is not about heart and MIL is not about a factory or production mill nor it is about Dil Milna. It is about Daughter in Law and Mother in Law, Saas vs Bahu.

Here I am going to talk about relationship between two women. It is a well known relationship all over the world for its special type of hate and bonding.

No matter whether they are rich or poor, socially active or inactive, local or outsider irrespective of cast or educational backgrounds, I have seen that this relationship is unharmonious, explosive, unpredictable…..

There are several psychological factors related to both the individuals but the main being ego, insecurity and control.

This time I am getting into astrological basis. In a husband Horoscope 4th house is shown by husband mother (Saas) and 7th house by wife (Bahu). Both these houses are square (Kendra) from each other and in Astrology square aspect means Challenges and tension.

Further if the lordship of the signs is malefic further enhanced by malefic planets positioned in these house then there is bound to be world war at home irrespective of peace treaties.

Astrologically, square aspects present a challenge and tension which is to be addressed for peaceful coexistence. We have to make all out effort to come out of whirlpool of negativity.

Surprisingly both women in general, as individuals, are of normally very soft, compassionate and emotional nature as they will not even hurt an insect or a bird. But when they come into these roles then they become sworn enemies.

Worldwide there have been lot of efforts in empowering the women thus making them strong, understanding, mature, practical but there is no effort in addressing this basic issue which exists in every household in all countries.

What I suggest is that at the time of matching the horoscopes of boy and girl, the matching of Saas and Bahu is also recommended. It works. Actually it is the insecurity of both the persons which aggravates the hostility.

Only thing is we think something outside us or someone else is going to make us happy , no it is all inside us.

Only we have to 'Choose to be Happy ' and remember that we all can make ourselves Happy .

Note the spelling of HAPPINESS, that ‘I’ in the centre of the word is the key.

Tatha Aastu…….

Few days before, a young man walked into my consultation office without appointment as I generally undertake cases with appointment only. There was some thing about this young man and I allowed him in. I asked him what I can do for him. He says I want to do something big in my life. I encouraged him further that it is a good thought. I told him which area in life you wish to do big and he suddenly fell silent. I prodded him a bit but I noticed that he is hesitating a bit.

In an effort to change the subject to make him comfortable, I told him tell me your educational background. Again he was not able to express clearly. I could understand his dilemma and I asked him that which year you cleared your college. He fell silent again.

I could guess what is the case. He told me that leave aside college, I have not even cleared my higher secondary open school examinations. I made his virtual image in my mind, a spoiled brat, may b on drugs but wants to have name and fame without earning it.

I was reminded of young activists in colleges who aspire to be politically inclined rather than study oriented. Also these days young people take to activism just to earn name and fame though their knowledge about the subject can be a big question. Anyway I pulled my thoughts on my subject.

I asked him again that what comes to your mind about what you wish to do. He said that he wants to be a spiritual leader. I want that hundreds of people should follow me and I bless them, feed them with free meals and the like. I asked him that do you know how much meditation n discipline one has to imbibe in life to achieve the status or position in life. He acknowledged that it must have not happened easily without hard work and discipline.

Then I asked him what you have done to achieve this state. He promptly responds that I follow Spiritual leaders. My next question was what u follow. He says all spiritual leaders say ‘Tatha Aastu’ to their devotees and they feel blessed n happy. So I want to achieve this status……

I am really pained to know how young people are lost n misguided. I tried my best to show him the reality but he was not interested.

Address n Acquittances

I have heard this comment several times that we are known by our neighbourhood. In an effort to understand it better I analysed it astrologically. Is it really the area we live in or people or both or ourselves?

In a horoscope, our neighbourhood, place and people both are defined by third house, it’s sign, it’s lord and planets positioned in third house.

Let me take an example of a Kaal Purush kundali where Lagna is Aries. So the third house sign becomes Gemini with Mercury as the lord of third house. With this information, we can understand that in our neighbourhood, the persons or families with whom I will be more familiar will be Mercurian type, means people will be intelligent, thinkers, good in speech but at the same time they will be intelligent, good orators, poor decision makers, talkative, unable to stick to their words, loose talkers, sometimes untrustworthy etc. This will of course be modified by planets sitting in third sign. This way not only we know our neighbourhood but our selves too.

We spend our lifetime earning on houses we buy but it is worth spending some effort and energy in knowing our neighbourhood. It is certainly not location. It is all about us and not about others.

We can see how easy it is to predict our neighbourhood where we spend our lives. So choose wisely.....

Karmic Astrology

This subject is more in the published form in current times than before. More and more of us are realising and understanding the concept of Karmas. The planetary position at the time of our birth indicates what were our past Karmas and what is the recommended path of action to dissolve these Karmas.

Karma is one subject everyone wants to know more and more. In an effort to have some clarity following is shared in the light of our horoscopes.

Our horoscope has a key to the subject of Karmas. Lot can be understood if we approach the subject in a structured way.
