Do you have asthma and are you taking treatment from General Practitioner, Physician or a Chest Physician?
Have you ever consulted an ENT specialist? If not, you are taking half the treatment for your ailment.
Do you know:
* More than 80% patients of asthma have nose and sinus problem
* Almost half the patients of asthma develop nasal polyps which are fleshy masses from the sinuses.
* If patient doesn't get proper treatment for nose and sinus allergy there is 40% chance that he will become a patient of asthma in 10 years.
Chances are more if patient's brother, sister, parents or grandparents have a history of allergies or asthma.
Just adding a nasal spray to treat your nose problem is not enough and proper.
One should undergo proper assessment of nose and sinus problem and take appropriate treatment from a qualified ENT Specialist.
There is a saying "Sneeze before Wheeze" which means asthma follows nose allergy, however mild, if not treated properly.
