Can a mental health intervention live beyond the room in which it is taught?
At the Conclave, this question reframed the conversation around community care.
Four elements stood out:
âś” Simple enough to be passed from one child to another
âś” Emotions broken into accessible tools
âś” Working across all levels, from child to decision-maker
âś” Integrated into daily life, not just clinical spaces
This led to the EmoAid Self-Help Program, created during COVID-19 when emotional distress was high but support was limited.
For physical health, every home has a first aid box. Why not one for emotional health?
in offers a personal emotional first aid kit, combining thought, breath, and emotional release. Implemented across Child Care Institutions, it showed significant reductions in stress, anxiety, and depression.
The need has not reduced. It has evolved. Today, constant digital exposure keeps our nervous systems under continuous stress.
