What is meditation ? ✨👁️✨
Is meditation require to be sited, close eyes and focus on your breath ?
No no no. That is not meditation. Being sitted like this is a way/ an exercice to focus your esprit (« Dharana » ~ the concentration) and train your attention.
Meditation, real meditation is above that. It is about being aware of all your senses, feeling the smells, the taste, the touch but also your emotions and thought in a really REALLY sharp way.
Without deforming anything, without judging anything, without trying to add or modify anything. Experience the reality as It Is, when you remove all you filter of reality from your past understanding of the world as a human with a Name, a mind memory, a body memory, but just remain AWARE.
Pure AWARENESS. Trought the body, through the senses.
It is also named sometimes by : « experiencing the present moment. »
Try to do something in your day (walking up the stairs, brushing your teeth, do the dishes,…) in a really mindful way, being aware of all your senses 👃👄👂🤲
And try to do it everyday (choose one same task every day) 🪄
