Successful Management of a Large Uterine Leiomyoma with Concurrent Cholelithiasis
A 50-year-old female patient presented to our facility with:
▫ Progressive abdominal distension
▫ Diffuse abdominal pain persisting for 1 year
Ultrasonography (USG)revealed:
🔸 Large Uterine Leiomyoma measuring 25 cm × 15 cm
🔸 Cholelithiasis
Given the complexity and dual pathology, a combined surgical approach was planned.
Surgical Procedures Performed:
✔ TAH-BSO (Total Abdominal Hysterectomy with Bilateral Salpingo-Oophorectomy)
✔ Bilateral Pelvic Lymph Node Dissection (PLND)
✔ Cholecystectomy
All procedures were performed under General Anesthesia
The entire treatment was provided under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana
