Disaster awareness rally under samarth 2025

जिला आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण (DDMA) कांगड़ा तथा सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी कांगड़ा के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आज से “जलवायु परिवर्तन एवं आपदा प्रबंधन” विषय पर तीन दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम धर्मशाला में आरंभ हुआ।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी कांगड़ा के कुलपति प्रोफेसर एस. पी. बंसल ने मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में किया। इस अवसर पर जिले के विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।
इस प्रशिक्षण में सेंट्रल यूनिवर्सिटी कांगड़ा के कई विशेषज्ञ एवं संसाधन व्यक्ति (Resource Persons) भी भाग ले रहे हैं, जो प्रतिभागियों को जलवायु परिवर्तन, आपदा जोखिम न्यूनीकरण, सतत विकास तथा अनुकूलन उपायों पर प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करेंगे।
DDMA कांगड़ा की ओर से श्री कुलदीप सिंह, प्रशिक्षण एवं क्षमता निर्माण अधिकारी इस कार्यक्रम में सक्रिय रूप से भाग ले रहे हैं।
तीन दिवसीय इस प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य प्रतिभागियों को जलवायु परिवर्तन के प्रभावों, उसके कारण उत्पन्न होने वाले आपदाजनक जोखिमों तथा उनके शमन (Mitigation) और अनुकूलन (Adaptation) के उपायों के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान करना है।
यह प्रशिक्षण प्रतिभागियों को जलवायु परिवर्तन से संबंधित चुनौतियों का प्रभावी रूप से सामना करने और जिले में आपदा प्रबंधन की तैयारी को सुदृढ़ बनाने में मदद करेगा।

Brief Report on Samarth Day – 13 October 2025

District Kangra – Celebration by 33 Colleges

As part of Samarth 2025 and the observance of the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (13 October 2025), 33 colleges across Kangra District actively participated in promoting awareness on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).

Each institution organized in-campus and community outreach activities featuring the DRR Pledge Wall, Selfie Wall, and pamphlet distribution drives among students, faculty, and local residents. Many colleges also conducted short talks, quizzes, and interactive sessions on preparedness and resilience-building.

Faculty members and students enthusiastically participated by taking the DRR Pledge, sharing selfie photographs, and distributing awareness pamphlets within classrooms and nearby communities. These collective efforts reflected the spirit of the Samarth 2025 theme — “Fund Resilience, Not Disasters.”
