Under the Fit India Movement and in line with the nationwide celebration of National Sports Day from 29th to 31st August 2025, Diphu Medical College & Hospital joyfully observed the occasion with the theme “Ek Ghanta Khel Ke Maidan Mein”.

Despite the not-so-favorable weather conditions, our students, faculty, and staff came together with unwavering enthusiasm and active participation, proving once again that true sportsmanship thrives against all odds.

National Sports Day, observed on the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand, reminds us that sports are not just about physical fitness but also about discipline, teamwork, resilience, and a healthy mind in a healthy body.

At DMCH, we firmly believe that sports build character as much as they build stamina. This celebration was not only a tribute to our sporting heroes but also a pledge to continue embracing fitness and well-being in our daily lives.

✨ Together, let us carry forward the spirit of sportsmanship and fitness beyond these three days — because every hour spent on the playground is an investment in a stronger, healthier tomorrow.
