Many women who have had a previous C-section start experiencing issues a few years later — such as heavy bleeding during or after periods, prolonged spotting, and repeated infections.
In some cases, they also struggle to conceive again.
When a sonography is done, a condition called Isthmocele is often detected.
Isthmocele is a defect in the C-section scar where the uterine wall becomes thin and a small pouch forms, allowing fluid to collect.
In today’s video, we show a real case of laparoscopic Isthmocele repair surgery.
The defective scar area is carefully removed and re-sutured, allowing the uterus to return to normal shape and function.
After this surgery:
• Abnormal bleeding and infections stop completely
• The uterine lining heals properly
• The patient can conceive naturally again
Remember, Isthmocele can be completely treated through laparoscopic surgery, restoring both normal periods and fertility.
