We all dream with hopes of its possibility. However, because of some setbacks in our life, we have stopped believing in our capabilities. We’ve been so conditioned not to let our hopes soar in fear of the pain of failure that many have stopped trying altogether.
As a result, many of us concede that it is our destiny to live a life of hardships, difficulties, and uncertainty that nothing can be changed. And guess what? We impose these beliefs on others who need our help and are dependent on us.

None of us has any idea what we can achieve. We should all have a never-say-die attitude and be ready to face challenges if we want to change our current situation that causes hardships, agony, and pain. If you don’t like your LIFE change it. Start believing in yourself again.

If you want to make a difference in your life, you have to make decisions and take action today. You might likely have faced failures in the past. It is not the past that determines your future but is determined by what you decide today, right now.
The opportunity to help your child with special needs is right here. All you have to do is to take that decision to help your child with developmental disabilities lead a life of independence and dignity.

Raksha Bandhan

06/09/2015

August has been a month of achievement for the kids at CAER The theme for the month was "Rains" and "Rakshabandhan". The projects related to the theme were ' rain walk', and "rain talk" craft activity of rain related items and treasure hunt of those articles, and "rakhi" making and talk about the spirit of the festival.

Rains eluded us for the good part of August so we went on with our Rakhi making. All our kids participated in Rakhi making. Rakhis were made out of wool, thread , felt and decorative materials. It was a great hit with children and therapists putting in their creative self.

Finally, our chant of " rain rain, come again" paid off and on the last week of August we could go ahead with our rain walk, and treasure hunt, sailing paper boat etc.
