The risk of stroke increases significantly during the winter season. To highlight this important issue, an awareness seminar was organised at a hotel in Sector 12 under the joint initiative of Accord Hospital and Doctors Forum Faridabad, with participation from several senior doctors.

Dr. Rohit Gupta, Chairman of the Department of Neurology, attended the programme as the chief guest. He explained that during winter, blood circulation in the body tends to reduce and the blood vessels in the brain begin to constrict, which increases the risk of stroke.
