Some people get this type of lesions on tip of their fingers or toes in severe winters
This is chill blains , can occur every winter in some patients

Preventing Chill Blains in Winter:

1. ❄️ Layer Up:
• Wear multiple layers to stay warm. Avoid cold that is the main reason .

2. 🥾 Warm Footwear:
• Insulated shoes protect against the cold. Don’t wear tight leather shoes , instead wear soft warm footwear

3. 🧤 Keep Hands and feet Covered: With gloves and warm socks all the time .

4. ☔ Avoid cold water . Use warm water for washing and bathing . Cold water leads to blockage of blood circulation in finger tips or toe tips leading to swelling ,redness and pain

5. 🍎 Mind Your Diet:
• Consume vitamins/ hot beverages/ dry fruits and calorie rich food to keep body warm.

6. 🌟 Moisturize Regularly:
• Prevent dry skin, use moisturizer repeatedly like Vaseline or warm coconut oil

7. 👗 Avoid Tight Clothing:
• Opt for loose-fitting but warm clothes for better circulation.

8. Avoid dry heating like with heater or blower , instead soak in lukewarm water

9. 🩺 Consult a Dermatologist: If the condition is severe consult skin specialist.
