Immunity Foods and recipes : *The Immunity Boosting Recipe
Hot Golden Latte

Turmeric latte is a traditional Indian recipe. Turmeric is known for it’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidants properties. Adding black pepper makes turmeric more bioavailable to the body. *Ingredients:* 20-25 - cashews(soaked for 2-3 hours)
3 or 4 - dates (soaked overnight)
1/4 tsp - cinnamon powder
1/4 tsp - black pepper powder
1 inch piece of ginger
1 inch piece of fresh turmeric root or 1 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup Water to blend
1 cup boiling water *Method:* In the blender, add cashew, dates and all the spices. Add 1 cup of water and blend. Remove it in the bowl and add 1 cup boiling water. Serve it hot.

Serves 2 *Note* you can increase or decrease the spices according to your tastebuds. *Variations:* You can also add cardamom powder or fennel powder or star anise powder. Also cashews can be replaced with almonds.
