Case of the Day – Gallbladder Stones
Today, we treated a 45-year-old male patient who came with complaints of abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting.
He was diagnosed with gallbladder stones one year ago, when only 2 stones were detected. Unfortunately, he ignored the condition and did not undergo treatment at that time.
Now, he presented again, and on evaluation we found that his gallbladder was filled with more than 100 stones.
We performed a laparoscopic cholecystectomy and successfully removed the gallbladder with all the stones. The surgery went smoothly, and the patient is recovering well.
✅ Takeaway Message:
Gallbladder stones should never be ignored. Small stones can multiply and cause serious complications if left untreated. If you have symptoms like abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting, consult your doctor immediately and get timely treatment.
