To be brutally r***d and murdered in one's own workplace also speaks volumes in what kind of environments "Gods" work.

Probably this.. " Work is worship " needs to rephrased !!

Imagine one hour if we all, throughout the country, put our pens/ scalpels down -- then you had it !!

Glad to share with my patients and well wishers , this piece of information that I will be going for my higher studies for few years, from this year end.

My only advice to my Cancer treated patients is to continue with their reviews/follow ups regularly with the Radiation Oncologists ( Dr.Ashish Rai/ Dr. Pamu/ Dr Hari) and Oncosurgeon Dr Karma Doma Bhutia at STNM hospital.

* Please come for reviews minimum till 5 yrs from your date of completion of all treatments.
* Please maintain one notebook for easy reference of all doctor's notes at a glance.
* Please have awareness not only of the symptoms of Cancer but also have awareness of your Own body. This would help you to detect any changes in your body ASAP.
* Stay healthy and blessed 🙏💐

Please do keep me in your prayers and best wishes. I hope all goes well and I am back to the pavilion again serving the humanity.

Denzongpa Oncosurgeon clears NEET Superspeciality for MCh Urology in Open All India General Category in December 2023.

Dr. Tshering D. Bhutia, daughter of Mrs. Yangden Bhutia and Mr. Chewang Bhutia from Rongong, Phodong, North Sikkim, has successfully cracked the competitive NEET SS entrance examination in Open All India General Category and has secured *MCh Urology* at the prestigious *AJ Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, Mangalore, Karnataka*.

Dr. Tshering D. Bhutia is the first Denzongpa to do so from Sikkim and she would be the *First Lady Urologist* in Sikkim and probably the First Lady Urologist in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Kurseong and also Siliguri.

She is presently serving at STNM hospital, as the Senior specialist cm Head of the Dept of GI & Breast Surgical Oncology since 2019. She also happens to be the *First Oncosurgeon* of Sikkim and had done a commendable job in establishing and starting the dept of Surgical Oncology in Sikkim (STNM).

Now she would be venturing into Urology which is a Super speciality branch that deals with both cancerous and non cancerous diseases of the kidney and urinary system and also Kidney Transplant.

She aspires to train herself excellently so as to be a useful human resource to the people of Sikkim and humanity as a whole.

We wish her all the best for all her future endeavours !

A good morning to everyone 🌅

It's said that whatever be the situation, " life has to move on" and at the same time it also said that " this too shall pass" !
So with a heart and mind preoccupied and disturbed with the current disaster situation, we had no option but to deliver our services.

Yesterday we performed our 4th Classical Whipple surgery for a 73 yr old retired male teacher from Dentam. We ran for 14 hours with a 10 mins break between resection and reconstruction. It was a difficult anatomy.
However by God's grace it was uneventful.

My heartfelt thanks to all involved in the surgery. 🙏💐

Praying that Sikkim and it's people bounces back to normalcy soon. 🫂✨
