Snoring and breathing disorder during sleep is a common disease in our society that may leads to day time sleepiness, fatigue, hypertension uncontrolled diabetis,, fatty liver, weight gain etc. This disease is very much neglected by all including physicians. This is now establised fact that major cause of road trafic accident is this disease. (OSA). Everyone should try to get rid of this slow poison of SNORING and OSA(obstructive sleep apnoea) to lead a healthy life. We have been doing surgical correction of airway in selected patients with good success. Weight reduction , avoidance of alcohol and sleeping medicine and correction of other metabolic disorders along with CPAP machine are other modelity of treatment besides surgery.
