An Initiative on TB and HIV/AIDS by Guwahati University under the leadership of Dr. Rituparna Borah, programme officer , Deptt. Of Bioengineering and Technology at GU, in consultation with District TB Officer Dr. Mridul Bharati Nath, Kamrup metro, through quiz on TB/ HIV/AIDS is started in different schools of Guwahati Metropolitan area and in the adopted village with the objective of enhancing awareness among students and community members about prevention, early detection, treatment and the importance of social acceptance which is started on 30th January,2026 from Jalukbari High school.
