Dr. Seema Singh is a highly accomplished Surgical Oncologist with over 14 years of extensive experience in the field. She currently serves as the Principal Consultant & Unit Head at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali, Ghaziabad. Earlier in her career, Dr. Singh worked as a Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Yashoda Super Speciality Hospitals, Kaushambi, Ghaziabad, and also held a significant position at the esteemed Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre (RGCIRC). In addition, she received valuable clinical training and exposure at AIIMS, New Delhi, further enhancing her expertise in surgical oncology. She specializes in Breast and Gynaecological Cancers and has comprehensive experience in managing a wide range of malignancies, including Breast Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Cervical Cancer, Uterine Cancer, Gall Bladder Cancer, Head and Neck Cancer, and Thyroid Cancer. Dr. Singh is proficient in advanced surgical techniques, including minimally invasive and robotic oncological surgeries, and is committed to delivering comprehensive, personalized cancer care to her patients.

As a Cancer Surgeon, my constant endeavor is to push boundaries and explore newer domains in the field of surgical oncology. Continuing this pursuit, I recently performed a Robot-Assisted Total Thyroidectomy with Central Neck Dissection for a case of Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma (PTC) using the RABIT (Robotic Axillo-Breast-Insufflation Thyroidectomy) approach.

Case Summary:
A 34-year-old female, teacher by profession, presented with Papillary Thyroid Carcinoma. The procedure was completed successfully with a scarless outcome, normal postoperative voice, and complete oncological resection.

This case highlights the evolving role of robotic surgery in thyroid malignancies, offering excellent cosmetic results, precise dissection, and optimal oncological clearance while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction in selected cases.
