Today is ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ซ ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ฒโ the first global health day dedicated to ending a cancer, following the 2020 pledge by 194 countries to eliminate cervical cancer as a public health problem.
Since then, global efforts to expand HPV vaccination, high-performance screening, and timely treatment have continued to gain momentum, strengthening womenโs health and advancing equity.
Elimination is possible. With awareness, prevention, and early detection, we can move toward a future free from cervical cancer.
