Glimpses of ceremonial launching of the SWASTHYABAN SHRAMIK YOJANA at Halmira TE today. The inauguration was done by the Honourable MLA, Khumtai LAC, Sri Mrinal Saikia. The event was attended by the General Secretary, Assam Chah Majdur Sangha (Golaghat branch) Sri Ghanashyam Barhoi, MIP (Jorhat and Golaghat division) Dr. Apurba Sharma, Joint Director of Health Services, Dr. Rajib Ranjan Gogoi, SDM&HO, Charingia BPHC, Dr. Dilip Rajbongshi, General Manager, Halmira TE, Sri G.L. Sharma, District Coordinator, Poshan Abhiyan, Medical Officer, Halmira TE hospital and other key members. A health checkup camp and ABHA ID generation was organised as part of the inauguration event at the Halmira TE hospital. The DPM, DME, BPMU, RBSK team, MMU team, Tea garden welfare officers, Line Sardars, Line Chowkidars, ASHA workers etc. were present during the programme.

A One Day training for Medical Officers on IHIP-IDSP activities was held on 23 December, 2026.

The training was organized by the District Surveillance unit, DSU, IDSP, Golaghat. During the training program, the Joint DHS, DSO (IDSP), SDM & HO(School Health), Medicine specialist, SKKCH, Food Safety Officer, Dist.Epidemiologist, Microbiologist and others attended the training along with all nominated Medical Officers.
