📢 International Day of Persons with Disabilities – Awareness Rally & Cultural Program
On 3rd December, International Day of Persons with Disabilities was observed with great enthusiasm and commitment. With the aim of promoting inclusion, accessibility, and equal rights, a special Awareness Rally was organized, in which differently-abled individuals, students, community members and healthcare professionals actively participated.
During the rally, participants raised slogans to spread awareness about the rights, dignity and abilities of persons with disabilities. The rally highlighted the strong message that disability is not inability — everyone deserves equal opportunities and respect in society.
A powerful Street Play (Nukkad Natak) was also performed, focusing on the struggles and achievements of persons with disabilities. The play encouraged people to change their mindset and support inclusion at every level — education, employment, and social life.
After the rally, participants joined a special program attended by the District Collector and other dignitaries. Motivational speeches, cultural activities and interactive sessions made the event more meaningful and inspiring. The Chief Guest appreciated the efforts of all participants and encouraged society to contribute in building a barrier-free environment for all.
This event successfully delivered the message —
➡ Let’s create a world where everyone can live with dignity, independence, and equal opportunities!
➡ Together we can make inclusion a reality!
