Dr. Mohana Rao Patibandla has finished his MBBS from Andhra Medical College and then his 5-year MCh Neurosurgery degree from the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences. His journey of comprehensive neuro care was started from his early neurosurgery career as most of the doctors are worked as a proceduralist i.e if they know one surgery they will try to apply the same to every disease but not applied other available best modalities which resulted in worse outcomes and is not a disease-oriented approach. He wanted the 360 degrees approach towards the disease compared to seeing from one perspective. To achieve this one has knowledge in all the modalities or should work as a multidisciplinary team. To give better patient care he finished almost all the available fellowships which include the following both from India and the USA even though it took almost one and half-decade.
