In this video, Dr. Chaitanya Ghanta, Orthopedic Surgeon in Guntur at Sree Sankalpa Hospital, explains how long patients should keep an arthroscopy bag after shoulder arthroscopy. Many patients often ask:
β€’ For how many days should we keep the bag?
β€’ Do we need to wear it even while sleeping?

πŸ‘‰ Dr. Chaitanya clarifies:
β€’ If a muscle repair (like a rotatory cuff tear) is done, the bag should be kept for 4 to 6 weeks.
β€’ If a dislocation is treated, the duration is also around 4 to 6 weeks.
β€’ The bag should be worn even at night, because while sleeping, if the hand moves suddenly, there is a risk of the muscle tearing again.
β€’ For proper healing between the bone and tendon, immobilization for about 4 to 6 weeks is essential.

βœ… So, patients must be careful and keep the joint immobilized during this period for complete recovery.

In this video, Dr. Chaitanya Ghanta, Orthopedic Surgeon in Guntur at Sree Sankalpa Hospital, explains how to differentiate between neck pain and shoulder pain.

When patients come with pain in the upper body, it’s important to identify whether the pain is starting from the neck or the shoulder.

πŸ§‘β€βš• Neck Pain:
β€’ If the pain passes from the neck down to the hand, it is usually due to nerve pressure in the neck (called radiculopathy).
β€’ Stress or compression in the neck nerves causes this type of pain.

πŸ’ͺ Shoulder Pain:
β€’ Pain limited only to the shoulder joint is known as shoulderpathy.
β€’ Conditions like frozen shoulder, shoulder dislocation, or rotator cuff tear cause this type of pain.
β€’ Here, the pain does not pass down to the hand.

πŸ‘‰ It’s important to first identify if the pain is from the neck or shoulder to decide the right treatment.

In this video, Dr. Chaitanya Ghanta, Orthopedic Surgeon in Guntur at Sree Sankalpa Hospital, explains how to differentiate between back pain and kidney pain. Many people often get confused, as the symptoms may feel similar. This video will help you understand the key differences and when to seek medical attention.

πŸ‘‰ How to Identify the Pain:
β€’ If the pain starts in the back and spreads to the leg, or if it is mainly on the backside, it is usually back pain.
β€’ If the pain is severe and radiates from the back to the groin, it is more likely kidney pain.
β€’ Kidney stones can also cause this type of sharp, radiating pain.

By knowing these differences, you can better understand your condition and take the right treatment at the right time.

In this video, Dr. Chaitanya Ghanta from Sree Sankalpa Hospital explains in detail when an X-Ray is required in Tennis Elbow and the reasons behind it.

πŸ‘‰ In the early stage, X-Rays usually don’t show any abnormal findings.
πŸ‘‰ If the pain continues for a long period, bone changes may start to appear, and that is when an X-Ray becomes necessary.
πŸ‘‰ If pain doesn’t reduce with medications, physiotherapy, or ultrasound therapy, doctors may recommend local steroid injections for relief.
πŸ‘‰ Stretching exercises are also effective in managing pain and improving movement.
πŸ‘‰ Surgery is very rare in Tennis Elbow cases and is considered only when all other treatments fail.

πŸ”Ή Most patients improve with non-surgical treatments if they follow proper exercises and medical advice.

πŸ‘‰ Watch the video till the end to get a clear understanding from Dr. Chaitanya Ghanta about when exactly an X-Ray is required in Tennis Elbow.
