January Highlights: A Glimpse into CGS Hospital’s Care in Action 🐾

We’re proud to share the meaningful moments featured in the DLF Glimpses January edition, capturing a month driven by purpose, compassion, and impact.

Extending Care Through The Pasha Wing 💙:
This month, our teams continued delivering free and subsidised medical care for stray and distressed animals. From vaccinations and diagnostics to surgeries and recovery support, timely intervention remained at the heart of every effort.

Stories of Healing and Recovery 🩺:
January brought powerful recovery journeys, where expert care and consistent monitoring helped animals regain strength, comfort, and confidence. Each story reflects the importance of early diagnosis and dedicated post treatment support.

Shelter, Support, and Second Chances 🏡:
Through ongoing shelter care and medical assistance, animals in need received protection, treatment, and the opportunity to heal. Our adoption efforts also continued, connecting companions with safe and loving futures.

Bella’s Story of Strength and Recovery 🐾

When Bella, an 11 year old dog, was brought to CGS Hospital with loss of appetite and extreme weakness, her condition was already critical. Further evaluation revealed a severe uterine infection that had begun affecting her liver and kidneys, putting her life at serious risk.

Trusting the CGS team, Bella’s family chose timely surgical intervention despite the challenges. The infected uterus was successfully removed, followed by round the clock intensive care and close monitoring for a week. With dedicated post operative support and careful management, Bella slowly began to regain strength.

Over the next few weeks, her appetite returned, energy levels improved, and her health stabilised. Today, Bella is back to her routine, comfortable and active once again.

Her journey highlights the importance of early diagnosis, informed decisions, and committed post operative care in managing high risk cases.
