A philosophy, a way of life, for as long as human memory can recall, fasting has been
our natural rhythm.
Driven by unintentional fasting occurred during periods of food scarcity for hunters and
gatherers or by a change in season, a drought, a plague of insects or times of war, as in
case of farmers civilization,our ancestors regularly experienced periods of hunger.
Humans have evolved to benefit from lower availability of food..
In modern times, we have wrapped up this abstinence from abundance in the form of Intermittent Fasting.
There are numerous health benefits of fasting: fat loss, detoxification, gut cleansing, immune system reset and autophagy, to name a few.
You will learn more about what to eat, when to eat, types of fasting, how much to fast, how to break your fast, as and when we move forward.
It is not the abundance but the abstinence that is a blessing to health!
