💗 | Golf Meets Breast Cancer Awareness 🏌️♀️🎀 in Collaboration with
Fortis Hospital Manesar, .healthcare & Birdiesconnect, recently organized a unique Breast Cancer Awareness Workshop at Karma Lakelands — beautifully blending the passion for golf with the purpose of women’s health. The half-day event saw active participation from 25 golfers and 50+ non-golfer women across different communities.
The initiative focused on reinforcing how sports and health awareness together can inspire meaningful change in women’s wellbeing.
The session was led by Dr. Mansi Chowhan, Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon, Fortis Hospital Manesar, who emphasized the importance of early detection and preventive care.
Participants also had the opportunity to undergo breast screening with Thermalytix — an advanced, AI-based diagnostic technology that supports early identification of breast abnormalities.
We were privileged to have Dr. Alka Singh (Civil Surgeon, Gurugram), Dr. Pradeep Kumar (Deputy Civil Surgeon, Gurugram), and Ms. Hitaashee Bakshi, India’s No.1 ranked professional woman golfer, join us and lend their strong support to this noble cause.
