Dry Needling is a therapeutic technique used by trained physiotherapists to treat muscle pain and movement dysfunction.
Very thin, sterile, solid filiform needles are inserted into tight or knotted muscle bands called myofascial trigger points.
The goal is to release tension, reduce pain, and restore normal muscle function.
Benefits of Dry Needling
✔ Reduces Muscle Pain & Spasm
Targets trigger points that cause stiffness, pain, and restricted movement.
✔ Improves Range of Motion
Releases tight muscles, allowing better flexibility and joint mobility.
✔ Enhances Blood Flow
Stimulates local circulation to accelerate tissue healing.
✔ Releases Trigger Points
Helps deactivate painful “knots” that refer pain to other areas.
✔ Promotes Natural Healing
Stimulates neurological and biochemical responses that support recovery.
✔ Speeds Up Recovery
Useful in sports injuries, postural issues, and repetitive strain problems.
✔ Reduces Chronic Pain
Helpful for long-standing conditions where muscles remain dysfunctional.
