You are the parent which the child needs. You need to correct your child, when doing wrong, you need to monitor your child when misbehaving, but in an age appropriate manner.
1) For a toddler, hold h/her and distract
2) For a school going child 5-6 years old . Come down to the level, set clear expectations, name the feelings, act accordingly 3) for a teenager, have a dialogue, create clear boundaries and expectations. parenting
