"Wisdom tooth extraction is a common surgical procedure to remove your impacted wisdom teeth. The procedure involves:

- Numbing the area with local anesthesia
- Making an incision in the gum tissue
- Gently rocking the tooth back and forth to loosen it
- Removing the tooth
- Stitching the gum tissue (if necessary)
