In loving memory of Lala 🌈

Lala was my distance Reiki client in Shimla. We never met in person, yet our connection was real and deeply felt.

Distance Reiki does not rely on physical proximity. It moves through intention, energy, and a shared space of trust. Animals understand this naturally—they receive without expectation or doubt.

Lala’s passing is a reminder that healing is not always about curing. Sometimes, it is about holding space & offering comfort.

Pain in dogs is quiet — but it’s powerful.
Most dogs don’t cry, limp or complain when they hurt. They adapt. They compensate. They keep going… until they can’t.

As a Canine Bowen Therapist, I see this every day:
Dogs with “normal” scans who are still uncomfortable, stiff, withdrawn or struggling to move freely — because pain lives in the nervous system, fascia and soft tissues, not just in bones.

That’s why true pain care isn’t about masking symptoms.
It’s about restoring communication between the brain and the body so healing can happen naturally.
